Nepal Medical Mission Trip
Dates: October 20-30, 2026
Where: Nepal, particularly in Tawal, Larche, Chimchok and the city of Pokhara
Team Members Needed: Physicians, NP’s, PA’s, RN’s, PT’s, pharmacist, medical students, and non-medical team members who will teach discipleship training, spiritual growth, and discipleship in the home to the churches.
Goals of Trip: Most of the people in the villages have no medical care and some have never been to a doctor. Giving these communities medical care with the love of Christ will open up the opportunity for Pastor Lako and his church to share the gospel and he wants to plant two churches in these unreached people groups. Nepal is a country that has 285 total people groups, and out of those people groups 275 are totally unreached! That means that over 29,000,000 people have never even heard the gospel there!
Trip Leader: Ken Nippert, MDiv
Ken was the Director of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations in Memphis for 23 years and has led 40 medical mission trips all over the world.
Eight years ago Ken did a CMDA mission trip to Nepal and worked with Pastor Lako Lama, the host pastor of the trip and the pastor of Church of the Summit in Pokhara, Nepal. It is a small church of about 150 members. Pastor Lako went through the Virtual Downline Institute training last year and that has been a huge help in preparing him to teach and preach the Bible and be a more effective disciple maker!
While Ken is leading this trip through Harvest Church, he is doing it in partnership with CMDA Memphis.
Cost: $3300 The cost includes airfare, housing, food, transportation, medicines, travel insurance, and flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu on the return flight. Cost does not include cost of Visa or souvenirs.
